Our farm camps will allow your child to explore the outdoors and life on a working farm! Throughout the week, children will have the opportunity to plant and harvest crops, care for our farm animals, participate in crafts and activities with other children, and enjoy the outdoors! We will learn the connection between the farmer and consumer, healthy eating habits, and the daily life and struggles of working on a farm. Farm camp kids will get a chance to pick items to bring home, create projects and make memories! Our goal is to create a fun and educational experience that connects children with their food and community!

Future Farmers Camps for Ages 7-12

Welcoming all "future farmers" and nature lovers to join us for a week of farm fun this summer! This program is open for children ages 7-12 years old.

What We Do:

This camp session is geared towards children looking to get a "real-feel" of the life on a farm. Campers will get to enjoy a week in the life of a farmer at Ort Farms! We will take part in daily chores on the farm like tending to our animals, planting, and picking vegetables and fruit! We will spend time seeing how our family farm works including our farm stand and fieldwork. Children will get to learn a better understanding of where their food comes from, along with the business aspect and weather impacts that farmers face. We will also have plenty of fun with crafts, games and scavenger hunts! All campers must be 7 years old.

Daily Agenda includes animal care, snacks, farm lessons, picking, planting, harvesting and lunch when applicable. We will also have a small amount of free play time. These sessions are ideal for active children who love to be hands-on and aren't afraid to get a little dirty!

Farm Friends Camp Ages 4-6

Welcome to all "mini future farmers" and farm life lovers to join us for a week of farm fun this summer! This program is for children ages 4-6 years old.

What We Do

This camp session is geared to a younger age group interested in learning about farm animals and farming while participating in hands on crafts and activities on our farm. Our days will consist of themed crafts to bring home, stories and snack, activities and games, with occasional trips to the fields for picking/ planting crops. Daily snack will be included.

Daily Agenda includes themed activities which will include a craft, snack & story, along with games and activities. This session will also include occasional trips to the field for light picking/planting

Barnyard Buddies Camp Ages 4-6

Welcome to all "mini future farmers" and nature lovers to join us for a week of farm fun this summer! This program is for children ages 4-6 years old.

What We Do

This camp session is geared to a younger age group interested in learning about farm animals and want to get a taste of the farm life!! Campers will have the opportunity to learn and interact with farm animals, visit our fields to plant and pick crops, and participate in games and activities focused on farming! Daily snack will be included. All children must be 4 years old to participate. 

Daily Agenda includes animal care, snacks, farm lessons, picking, planting, harvesting and  activities/ games. We will also have a small amount of free play time.

Art On the Farm Camp 

Join Art Studio 4A for art camp down on the farm! Campers will get a chance to be creative and develop fresh ideas while creating a unique project each day. Perfect for creative kids who love art. Light snack will be included. Open to to children ages 7-12 years old.
