Pick Your Own (PYO) is the perfect way to experience firsthand how your food is grown—while making unforgettable memories along the way. Wander the fields in search of the brightest berries, stroll through blooming sunflower rows, savor the flavor of perfectly ripe apples, or head home with the biggest pumpkin in the patch.
There’s no better place to enjoy fresh, local produce and a full day of farm fun than right here at Ort Farms.
Each Festival Weekend features unique activities and experiences designed for all ages.
Enjoy a ride on our Cow Train, test your aim with our famous Apple Cannons, explore the property filled with wooden play structures and swing sets, and say hello to our friendly farm animals. Treat yourself to our homemade ice cream, enjoy seasonal flavors from a rotating lineup of food trucks (different each weekend), and browse our farm market stocked with fresh produce, prepared meals, apple cider donuts, and baked-fresh treats.

Pick your Own Tulips
April - May
New to the farm are our expanded fields of color, bringing to you the largest pick-your-own tulips in the area! With a variety of styles and colors, come spend the beautiful spring days on the farm with us.
Pick your Own Strawberries
May - June
There is no better way to spend the day than surrounded by the sweet smell of home grown strawberries. Pick your berries solo, grab a friend, or bring the whole family! Patch is open daily from 9:30am until 4:30pm or until picked out.
U-Cut Sunflowers and Wild Flowers
July - September
In the heart of summer, we offer DIY cut flower bouquets and our picture perfect sunflower fields!
Pick Your Own Apples September
Here at Ort Farms, we have over 5 acres of apples and many varieties including fan favorites like Gala and Honey Crisp, Jonagold, Cortland and more!
Pick Your Own Pumpkins
September - October
Pumpkin picking is a Fall Favorite! Take a hayride pulled by a big John Deere tractor down to the patch to look for the perfect pumpkin! Our 5 acre corn maze is also included in fall admission- get lost with family and friends! We also have a large selection of other all farm activities open on during pumpkin season including monster truck rides, pony rides, and our beloved cow train!
