Ort Farms Story Time - June

Join us for Story Time every Thursday in June!

June 1st: "No Butter Place than the Farm" - Did you hear the rumor about butter? I would tell you, but I don't want to spread it! Join us Thursday, June 1st where we’ll be celebrating National Dairy Month by making our very own butter! Once the butter hardens, everyone will get crackers to try out what they made! 

June 8th: “Tractor Time" - We all know a dog is a man’s best friend… but who is a farmer’s best friend? That’s right - their tractors!!! Get up close and personal with our favorite farm machinery, and even have the chance to climb up into the seat for a photo!

June 15th: "Ridin’ Along with Ralphie" - Giddyup! We’re hitching up the saddle and taking rides with Ralphie, our sweet and loveable pony. Feed him a carrot, and you’ll have a friend for life!

June 22nd: "I Scream, You Scream" - We all scream for ice cream! The Dairy Month celebration continues! Come meet our goats and enjoy delicious ice cream! We’ll have plenty of toppings like syrup, sprinkles, whipped cream, and fruit for you to add. We’ll also bring the goats out to hang with us while we eat! Don’t miss out on this super special story time, we’re so excited we can almost taste it!!! 

June 29th: “Got Milk?” - Where is a cow’s favorite place to go? The Mooooovies of course! Come on down to Ort Farms for the final week of National Dairy Month! We’ll be learning how to milk a cow, then making delicious chocolate milk (because even brown cows can only make white milk)! 

Geared toward ages 2-6, all ages welcome. Tickets must be purchased online and are required for all children 12 months and older. Adults do not need tickets. Story Time will always meet in the large event tent across the street from the farm store. The event will take place rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges.
