Thank you for your interest in participating as a vendor with Ort Farms serving food.  We have several events taking place this year so please be sure to add each date that you will be attending to the form. 

Reminder- you must obtain permits from the Washington Township (Morris) health Department and fire inspector for your single day vendor event a minimum of two weeks prior to your event.

Also required is a certificate of insurance naming “Ort Farms LLC”  as additionally insured for up to $1,000,000.00 (see address below). Please present this prior to your event.

Trash: We will provide portable toilets and trash containers.  If your truck has grey water, you are responsible for disposing of it at an off-site location.  Wastewater cannot be dumped at the farm.

Cost: The cost for participation as a Food Truck Vendor at Ort Farms is $250.00 per day.  Payment must be made 30+ days prior to the date of the event.

Set-up: Vendors may arrive as early as 9:00 AM or 2 hours prior to the event to set up.  Any arrivals earlier than 2 hours prior to the event must be scheduled in advance.

Conclusion of Event: You must stay for the entirety of the event; you may not leave early.   Clean-up must be completed by 7:00 PM and all trucks must vacate the premises by that time.

Food Truck Operations: Be sure to bring appropriate change to accommodate your sales.  This means you should have $1’s, $5’s, $10’s, and coins.  Ort Farms cannot supply change.

Also please bring the appropriate amount of food to handle crowds. We always hope for a successful event and would like our vendors to be amply prepared.

Please note: As required by the Fire Department, each truck must have the appropriate number of fire extinguishers.

Booth Conduct: We do not allow hawking of your product.  Distinctive and attractive signage will do the job.  Sampling IS allowed and encouraged according to the specifications of the Health Department but MUST be kept at your booth.

Trash: Food Truck operators must clean throughout the day and at the end of the day including the area around your truck.  Trash containers will be emptied throughout the day by Ort Farms staff.

Parking: Any additional parking needed for Food Truck Vendors will be across the street in our main parking field.   Extra vehicles must be removed from the Main Event Space before the event begins.

Employee Discounts: We do not require that you give discounts to our employees but if you choose to do so, please specify the amount so that we may inform our employees.  

Commitment: Your business must commit to running this food operation with your own staff.

Please sign and complete all areas of both forms and return along with payment no later than 30 days prior to each event.   Paperwork submitted later than 30 days prior to each event may result in forfeiture of your space as a vendor for that event.

***We ask that all vendors make a concerted effort to distribute event flyers and to promote the event whenever possible as this will help to boost your sales as well as ours.  We will send these flyers to you to share in the weeks leading up to each event.***
