What produce will I get?
Click here for our produce list and harvest schedule. All items with an asteric (peaches, nectarines, apples, sugar plums, blueberries) are not grown on our farm but they are locally grown. We chose to provide these locally sourced products for our CSA to keep a variety for our customers.
How long is the season?
Our season goes from May 24th to October 16th. Our 21 week season we will give you fresh produce harvested on the day of pick-up. All members are required to take 1 week "off" for vacation or personal use, so while the season runs for 21 weeks, you only pay for and pick up 20 weeks.
Customers will also receive a 10% discount card (received upon final payment) to use all season long at the farmstand.
Can I choose what I get?
Each week’s share will depend on what is in season and ready for harvest. You cannot specifically choose each item in the box but you can substitute for items that do not meet your needs. We will provide a list of what each share entails each week (i.e. 1 pint of blueberries, 3 large tomatoes, 2 heads of lettuce, ect) . You will use this list in the CSA tent and choose your items accordingly. If there is an item on the list that you prefer not to take, you may duplicate another item that you will use.
For group chapters: substitutions in advance are not available. There will be a SWAP box at your pick up location that will allow you to swap items you may not like for preferred items. Limited availability.
When and where do I pick up my share?
We have the following pick up options and locations:
1. Long Valley Pick up Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon.
4. Community Distribution--start a share in your neighborhood.
We are always looking to expand our CSA program! Consider starting a share at your school, church, workplace, or community. The possibilities are endless!
